Like it or not, your database is constantly changing. About 16% of the U.S. population
changes address each year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Without a regular
program for address updating, these movers will eventually disappear from your file.
As data ages the power and vitality of your database drains away. Statistics become
misleading and promotions become less targeted and less effective. If you fail to
keep up, your direct marketing will perform poorly. The solution is to regularly
refresh and clean your database, so your campaigns are based on deliverable addresses
and accurate data.
OnePass: Change of Address Processing
NCOALinkTM
The next generation of change of address software, has replaced the NCOA service
to provide change of address information. The USPS® has used new secure data storage
technology to develop and implement NCOALinkTM. This new technology is
designed to protect the privacy of consumers who file a change of address with the
United States Postal Service®. As a full service licensee, we receive
the full 48 months of Change of Address information from the USPS®.
infoUSA Change of Address (iCOA)
iCOA is a proprietary database compiled from a variety of commercial sources. iCOA
contains only individual consumer moves (requiring a match of both first and last
names to find additional forwarding addresses). Used as a supplement to NCOALinkTM,
iCOA often supplies move information that NCOALinkTM is unable to provide.*
OnePass: Address Verification & Improvement
ZIP + 4®
infoUSA combines two CASS Certified™ software programs to provide increased coding
levels. Standardizes business and consumer addresses, and applies ZIP + 4®
codes and carrier route codes.
DPV™
Evaluates the accuracy of addresses by matching them against a file of "official"
USPS® deliverable addresses. Records that match DPV™ are complete, correct
and should be deliverable. This is required as preliminary step for DSF2™ processing.
DSF2™
Differentiates residential and business addresses; identifies addresses that have
been vacant for 90 days and locates seasonal/educational addresses and commercial
mail receiving agencies. Supplies the walk-sequence numbers that are needed to qualify
for discounted High Density and Saturation postage rates.
LACSLinkTM
Identifies addresses that have undergone a change to facilitate 911 Emergency Systems
and substitutes the converted street version of the address. LACSLinkTM
also includes renamed and renumbered existing city-style addresses.
OnePass Address Correction (OPAC)
Our proprietary address correction service. Records that can't be ZIP + 4®
coded are passed against infoUSA's consumer file and missing address information
is appended to the record.
